When the stage comes in the life of the disciple when he feels that he cannot distinguish himself from his Guru, it is also called Guru Purnima. – Dadaji Maharaj
When the Jeeva gets his goal (Purnattwa) following the instruction of the Sadguru, it is called Guru Purnima. – Dadaji Maharaj
Purnima means Purnattawa – the ultimate aim of Human beings, and Guru means the expressed power of God. – Dadaji Maharaj
The abstract figure of the ultimate power of Godliness (Guru) will reach you to the ultimate aim of Human Beings. It is also called Guru Purnima. – Dadaji Maharaj
Guru means Purnattwa. So when Human Beings (partial) come to Guru (the ultimate power of Godliness) it may be called Guru Purnima. – Dadaji Maharaj
Guru is fully enlightened with the knowledge of the Universe. So when the Human Beings (shishya or disciples) come to Guru to enlighten himself, it is called Guru Purnima. – Dadaji Maharaj
When darkness (agyan) comes to life then Human Beings (agyan purush) run towards Guru (Purna Gyan or Pragyan Purush) for the fulfillment of his knowledge of Paragyan from Angshik Gyan (partial knowledge). This is called Guru Purnima. – Dadaji Maharaj
When the disciple of the Sadguru gets His ultimate goal (Ishwar Darshan) and establishes himself as a Guru (full of Ultimate Knowledge), it is also called Guru Purnima. – Dadaji Maharaj
Guru is full of universal knowledge (Brahma Gyan) and the disciple’s knowledge is partial. When the company of Guru is always in habit of the disciple then he acquires Purna Gyan from the companionship of Guru. Then he is able to celebrate Guru Purnima. – Dadaji Maharaj
As the Earth is enlightened by the light of full moon then all darkness goes away, similarly in the light of the all knowledgeable Guru the darkness of the mind of the disciple goes away and the mind of the disciple is enlightened by the knowledge of Guru. Then it is the actual meaning to celebrate Guru Purnima by any disciples. – Dadaji Maharaj
Guru means Purnattwa. So when Human Beings (partial) come to Guru (the ultimate power of Godliness) it may be called Guru Purnima. – Dadaji Maharaj
When the darkness of Amabarsha slowly changes into the full moon night, similarly spiritually unknowledgable disciple through his dedicated service to the Guru (Guru Kripa) slowly acquires Bhagawat Gyan (Knowledge of God or Brahma Gyan). Some day the disciple can feel that the Purna Gyan has entered his mind by Guru Kripa. Then the Guru Purnima festival will be celebrated actually. – Dadaji Maharaj
The knowledge of Gyan is the knowledge of Oneness. This knowledge of Bramha Gyan is established on Oneness. When this Brahma Gyan is transferred from the Guru to the disciple and the disciple is totally enlightened by the Purna Gyan of the Guru then the disciple becomes worthy of celebrating Guru Purnima. – Dadaji Maharaj
Purnima means to establish oneself in Purnatya. (Purnatya means to feel oneself as “I-ness”). To know oneself as a “Brahma Swarupa” is to establish oneself in the knowledge of “Brahma”. When the disciple feels himself like “Brahma Swarup” by Guru Seva from the core of his mind then he is worthy to celebrate Guru Purnima. – Dadaji Maharaj
