Can the desire for spiritual practices and the practices themselves be a hindrance to spiritual growth? What attitude is useful towards spiritual practices?
It is said that once one attains ‘Diksha’, the negative attributes of this world start surrounding him. The world is filled with carriers of negativity, known as bad messengers, who try hard to steal our Diksha mantra, and lead us to the path of destruction.
Sorrow, bad circumstances, turmoil, fill our lives during this time. But the one who still holds on to the positivity ignoring all constraints, is the sole receiver of Siddhi.
During this time, it is very much necessary to be under the divine presence of one’s Sadguru, to be around him and stay immersed in his seva, be obedient to him. This will enhance your path with positivity. We should cling to japa throughout the whole time. Thus, this should be the attitude towards the spiritual practices.
