Darshan and its significance – As explained by Sadguru Shivakalpa Mahayogi Sri Sri Dadaji Maharaj

To know your own body is the primary aim of doing Sadhana. What is this body, why it is present and what is the base of its existence? When humankind started searching answer for these questions, since then only they started discovering the secrets of mother nature. Historically, the unknown-unseen power was known as God to the humankind.

When a human body comes to life, then it is born with some spiritual powers. These powers are embedded in various parts of the human body since birth.  After attaining Guru Diksha these powers get awakened. In the human body, the spinal cord is the center of all the spiritual powers. The seven chakras which are existing in the human body from Muladhara to Sahasrara Chakra, in those chakras there are 49-small chakras present there, in which “Chausath Jogini” (64 Joginis) reside with Shiv, and all of them are holders of all Riddhi and Siddhi (Spiritual Accomplishments).

Who is Mahayogi?

Those who can awaken all the spiritual powers in the body and get themselves spiritually accomplished are called Yogi Purush or Maha-Sadhak. Besides Ira, Pingla, and Susumna, there are some other fine nerves (naadis) which play a vital role in attaining Saadhan- Siddhi. The awakening of these fine nerves happens through the Yog Kriya and with the blessings of Sadguru, and this is the only method which can transform a simple human being into a Mahayogi or Bhagawat Purush (Godly Person).

What is Swapna Darshan (Spiritual Dreams)?

A normal person every day, dream about a lot of things in his sleep. In dreams he gets Darshan of many places, meets many people and gets into a conversation with them, goes to many amazing places which he has never seen before or visited before. He does many unusual works which he cannot even imagine doing in reality. Whatever a person sees in his dreams, he has no control over that as these Swapn- Darshans (dreams) occur in a self-induced way.

Power of Swapna Darshan (Spiritual dreams)

This power of seeing dreams is naturally possessed by a human being by birth. This is an indication of mother nature, which makes the human being aware that since birth that you have unlimited powers of nature within you, which if you practice consciously and sincerely you can become extremely powerful because everything which exists outside is already existing within you.

Science of Darshan

The circumstance in which the person dreams in the various stages of sleep, if those stages of sleep can be reached while doing spiritual Sadhna, then the sadhak can experience and see various spiritual Darshans, without falling asleep. With Sadhan shakti or by practicing various yog kriya, a Sadhak can take his current stage of the body to the stage of sleep and while staying in the state of complete consciousness, can take his mind and body to the state of unconsciousness (Avchetan avastha). In this state, he penetrates through various chakras of the body and can attain the Darshan of many things which are inside and outside of his body.

When a person is blessed with Diksha Mantra by Sadguru, he then starts following the spiritual path shown by Guru, then the dormant ever existing spiritual powers inside the body starts getting activated. As a result of this, that person begins exploring the divine world. Then his body, mind, soul and thought power gets energized through the divine powers and he starts experiencing the Divya Darshan in his life. Through the powers of Sadhna, when Kundalini starts penetrating each Chakra and moves towards Sahsrar Chakra, then is the beginning of “Spiritual Darshan” (Spiritual Sight) in Aagya Chakra.

Darshan happens to only those sadhak or sadhikas who can lift themselves up to the highest level of spiritual consciousness and this is the reason why spiritual darshan is the most prized divine possession of a spiritual sadhak. Initially, the person fails to understand the meaning of these Darshans. But slowly and gradually when he starts walking steadily on the path of Sadhna, then the meaning of spiritual Darshans becomes clear to him.

Paramhansa Shree Ramkrishna Dev on Spiritual Darshan

Shree Ramkrishna Dev once said that if a person sees one or two spiritual Darshans in a lifetime, then his entire life becomes a spiritual bliss. Darshan is such a rare phenomenon. There is no doubt about the fact that these spiritual Darshans can reverse the complete life and the Karma Phal of a human being, into a positive way.

Spiritual Darshan should be discussed with whom?

The Mahayogis and saints of the highest order of the spiritual order had penned down their spiritual darshan in their autobiographies so that the future generations can get spiritually benefitted by reading them. Mahayogi Shree Shyamacharan Lahiri Mahashaya, Mahayogi Shree Nitya Gopal or Mahayogi Shree Dwarkanath Bhattacharya are the ones who had written their Spiritual Darshans, which is the most prized possession of their spiritual life. Hence, to save this treasure of gold from a non- spiritual human being is the act of wisdom. By this, the sadhak can not only save himself from the negativity of the people with anti-spiritual powers but can also take his spiritual powers forward without obstacles. When a new Sadhak starts experiencing the spiritual darshan, he should then detach himself from the external world and become an inward-looking person, to reap the maximum benefits out of his spiritual Darshan.

The importance of writing darshans

Many disciples of Dadaji Maharaj are practicing spiritual Sadhna since the last 9-10 years. Out of them, many have reached a very high level in their spiritual Sadhna. The others are also progressing as per their spiritual capabilities

Spiritual Darshans are significant because, through these spiritual Darshans, it is possible to know which sadhak has progressed how much in his Sadhna, who is ahead and who needs to practice more. If all these Darshans are maintained in writing, then it helps the Sadhak a lot in his/ her future Sadhan. Those have progressed speedily leaving others behind or those who have fallen in their spiritual journey after reaching a stage can inspire themselves again by reading through their own Darshan from past. This is the reason why writing spiritual Darshan is important.
